Dark Chocolate Chip Oat Bars

You don't have to tell anyone these are homemade, healthy (gulp!) granola bars. Just let your guests enjoy the chewiness of the oats and dense chocolate flavor from the highest-quality dark chocolate you can find.

Ingredients

  • 1 large egg

  • 1/2 cup fat-free yogurt (plain or vanilla)

  • 1/2 cup Splenda® brown sugar blend

  • 1-1/2 cups quick oats

  • 2 tablespoons milled flaxseed

  • 1/4 cup bittersweet chocolate chips

  • Cooking spray

Directions

Whisk egg with yogurt and brown sugar. Blend in oats and flaxseed. Add chocolate chips. Spread mixture in an 8-inch-square pan coated with cooking spray. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.

Cut into 12 bars

Each bar contains about 104 calories, 3 grams protein, 3 grams fat, 18 mg cholesterol, 17 grams carbohydrate, 1 gram fiber, and 12 mg sodium.
